Further Details:
Sewing Machine Parts Casting is done by using sand as semi cast material. In this technique clay is mixed with sand and water in equal to ratio to form a mixture, which has high strength, so that it is suitable for molding. Sand is available in mold boxes, which is known as flask. After the mold space is created, mixture is added to it and impurities are removed. After this clay is heated and sand is added to get a fine mixture in equal ratio. Then pattern is placed in this mixture of sand and clay. The mold cavity is filled with hot semi solid metal and is allowed to cool. Furthermore, once the molten metal has been removed casting has been accomplished. Casting depends on the quality of sand and clay used during the process.
